Mamadou's Recovery Fund

On behalf of Mamadou Diakhate’s family during this difficult time the Rainier Ave Business Coalition (RainierABC) is launching a GoFundMe.

This week a series of robberies took the life of one, and put another of our beloved Seattle business community members in the ICU. With what may be the doings of one individual, we have lost so much. While thankfully Mamadou is stable, he has a long road to recovery and we know his hospital and recovery costs will be hard for family to manage.

For those who know Mamadou personally, or know of his connection and commitment to serving community through his beloved southeast Seattle legacy small businesses (Baol African Imports & La Terenga), we hope you will consider making a donation. Any amount will be appreciated!

Mamadou holds a leadership role as a member of the Steering Committee for RainierABC. We have received approval to fundraise on behalf of Mamadou; all proceeds of this fundraiser will be transferred directly to the family account to be spent on his recovery and medical bills.
