Mama Sues medical travel expenses for MD Anderson

Hi family and friends!

We are so grateful for all the memories we have made this past year in 2022 as a family! Mama Sue’s continues to get her chemo every 3 weeks (she’s been doing this new treatment since 2017) and continues to fight hard against her stage 4 metastatic breast cancer!! Can you believe she’s a walking miracle fighting aggressive cancer since 2010!!! During the holiday she had a biopsy done on fluid building up after a surgery she had waited 10 years to get healthy enough to have performed, the removal of her expander. Unfortunately the biopsy came back positive for leukemia/lymphoma ! We were shocked and scared but many people said we needed to get her into MD Anderson to access her treatment options. So we did just that! Mama Sue left Las Vegas yesterday with one of her best friends Diana to accompany her for her testing and treatments so we could continue holding down the fort in vegas… I will keep you all updated but right now they have a one way ticket to be there and stay in a hotel across the street from the hospital until we know more! The team is going to get her on the schedule to do a PET scan tomorrow and potentially another biopsy and ect… we appreciate all your support and are hoping to help cover the travel expenses she is undertaking while she is there in Houston! We pray the insurance coverage and copays are reasonable and that they are able to get a treatment plan asap!
