I know everyone is hurting in a time like this, but if you knew these people the way I know these people you would want to help them. I started at Mama Roja 5 years ago and over time, with the help of so many employees, we have built a great team and a well performing restaurant. They are my family. There are some weeks that I see their faces more than I see the faces of my own family. I have kids paying their way through school, I have 18 year olds supporting themselves, moms supporting families, dads supporting families and everything in between. A few days ago, with no choice and a heavy heart, we had to close our doors due to COVID-19.  This put my family and their lives in jeopardy. They no longer have income.   I have had many sleepless nights thinking of ways to help them. This wasn’t their fault. I know they are strong and will make it through this time, but I want to help them get there. I long for the day we get to get everyone back together again. It will be awesome!
