Hello my name is Javier Mena and I am one of Ana Olimpia’s grandchildren or as I like to refer to her, Mamá Olin. Mamá Olin was a kind, caring, generous, loving, and all-around amazing person.  She was the personification of a smile and shared that warmth with everyone she encountered. She had a very special way of encouraging people with her positivity. She could always light up a room. She led everything she did in life with her heart. All 11 of us grandchildren LOVED our Dearest Mamá Olin.  

She was the life of every party and was very adventurous. She traveled the world with her husband, Rolando. She never let anything stop her, not even rough rivers, tall mountains, bears, crocodiles, snakes, wild animals or her compromised immunity.

Mamá Olin loved to help people and no greater example was her aiding those in need in El Salvador. Mamá Olin loved her home nation of El Salvador and always gave back to those who needed help the most; whether that was by donating her time, or clothes, or sending funds for relief aid. I am aiming to start this charity in the name and memory of my Mamá Olin who sadly passed away Wednesday 9/22/2021 at the age of 68. I am looking to continue what she started and help those in need in El Salvador.
