Una Batalla contra el Cáncer por el Amor de Nuestra Madre

Hace poco vivimos uno de los momentos más emotivos de nuestras vidas: traer a nuestra mamá a Estados Unidos para poder abrazarla de nuevo después de tantos años lejos. Fueron meses llenos de alegría, pero pronto notamos cambios preocupantes en su salud. Se mostraba más lenta, olvidadiza y ausente en sus pensamientos.

Lo que parecía un proceso natural del envejecimiento resultó ser algo mucho más grave. Tras varias evaluaciones, los médicos descubrieron un tumor en el lóbulo frontal de su cerebro. Poco después, los estudios confirmaron el diagnóstico más devastador: adenocarcinoma de pulmón con metástasis cerebral, con tumores de rápido crecimiento que en solo dos semanas pasaron de dos a cuatro.

Hoy enfrentamos una batalla silenciosa pero implacable. Con mucho dolor, luchamos contra reloj para brindarle el tratamiento que necesita, y lo hacemos con la firme decisión de acompañarla en cada paso.

Nuestra madre requiere radioterapia, quimioterapia, estudios de imagen con contraste, medicinas y cuidados especializados. Los costos son muy altos, y apenas estamos iniciando esta dura batalla.

Por eso, humildemente pedimos tu ayuda. Cada donación, grande o pequeña, será una luz de esperanza. También puedes apoyarnos compartiendo esta campaña con tus familiares y amigos. Cada gesto y cada oración nos permitirá enfocarnos en lo más importante: la vida y la salud de nuestra mamá.

A Battle Against Cancer for the Love of Our Mother

Recently, we experienced one of the most emotional moments of our lives: bringing our mom to the United States so we could hug her again after so many years apart. Those months were filled with joy, but soon we began to notice worrying changes in her health. She became slower, forgetful, and often seemed lost in her thoughts.

What seemed like a natural part of aging turned out to be something far more serious. After several evaluations, doctors discovered a tumor in the frontal lobe of her brain. Soon after, further tests confirmed the most devastating diagnosis: lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastasis, with fast-growing tumors that increased from two to four in just two weeks.

Today, we face a silent yet relentless battle. With heavy hearts, we are racing against time to give her the treatment she needs, firmly determined to stand by her side every step of the way.

Our mother requires radiotherapy, chemotherapy, contrast scans, medications, and specialized care. The costs are overwhelming, and we are only at the beginning of this difficult journey.
