Mama Lily and puppies, Elwood and Meadow

This poor mom and her puppies were circulating due to an urgent plea to save them. Unfortunately, mom and her puppies were placed on a 72 hour notice at riverside animal shelter, simply due to overcrowding. We could not let this beautiful mama and her babies be euthanized. So in partnership with West Coast Boxer Rescue, mama Lily and her pups are now safe!

While both rescues work tirelessly to find a permanent foster, mama is recuperating and caring for her babies with our rescue owner, Daryl. Mama Lily is an absolute sweetheart. She is house trained, great with other dogs, and the best mom ever. Adoption applications are not being accepted at this time as mom and puppies will be in the care of a rescue for the next 8-10 weeks.

With long term care for weaning moms and puppies, there comes expenses. We are grateful to those who have reached out pledging or offering donations towards the care of Lily and her puppies. All money collected will go towards food, formula, pee pads, and all additional supplies needed as the puppies grow. In addition, when the time is right, vaccines, spay and neuter.
