Mama J Needs a New Pizza Oven

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser (with permission) for my dear friend Jessica Scott; Mama J.

To know Jess is to love her. She is a devoted mother, a generous, kind and loving friend, and a second mom to my son, and all of the young adults that make up the staff at Mama J’s Pizzeria in Penngrove. As a small business owner, Jessica puts her heart and soul, and all of her time, into Mama J’s.

A few months ago, her pizza oven cracked throwing temperatures off, and affecting the quality of the pizza. Since then she and her staff have been working with half the oven capacity, increasing order wait times and ultimately hurting business. With the rising costs of living, food and employee wages, Mama J’s is unable to cover the cost of replacing their pizza oven without our help.

Not to mention, Jess also suffered a huge personal loss earlier this year with the sudden death of her longtime life partner, Justin. The grief and stress of that loss along with working to keep her business afloat with a broken oven, has become too much to bear. Let’s give her a hand and show her the love she’s shown all of us over the years!
