Wanted to update you all on mom ! She is still here! She is still fighting !

She is finally off the ventilator but still receiving some oxygen , she is opening her eyes and looking around in the room . She is not moving much or talking yet but is responding to neuro checks, her numbers are ok and she is currently stable .

We are in the middle of a new battle with her insurance , she is a Kaiser patient and has been for a few years . Months and months before moms stroke we took her to the doctor so many times , including the Kaiser Emergency room ! There was never any CT scans done or MRI’s done despite her continuing symptoms of blurry vision, leg numbness, slurred speech sometimes and extreme fatigue !

We are afraid of her going back to Kaiser and the facility they want to send her looks like it’s from a horror movie and the reviews are terrible. We have filed an appeal with Livanta and it was denied . As of midnight 8/30 we are financially responsible for all of moms care at the hospital where she is currently.

I know many of you continue to want to help and support, I ask you to please share, donate and help bring awareness to this unfortunate situation we are going through! Push for more test ! Push for exceptional care ! My mom would have been fine if they would have done a scan to see what was going on ! Instead her 2 main arteries were 100% clogged and the other was 70% clogged . Mom was surviving of 30% blood and oxygen flow to her brain for God knows how long .

Hello Friends & Family !

Today on the morning our mama suffered a massive stroke on the left side of her brain. Her artery was completely blocked and had to go under to have a procedure done to clear it. At the moment mama Eva is on a ventilator and is not able to move her right side of her body. She has opened her eyes when she hears our voice but is still not fully aware of what has happened. They are doing many more test to find out how and why this happened. From what we saw this morning she has lost her speech and mobility on her right side but we are staying faithful that she will make a full recovery in the mighty name of Jesus.

As many of you know our dad is also a stroke survivor and we will have to find care for him as well , since mom was his main care giver. We are making this page to help alíviate any expenses for us to be at moms bedside as much as possible . Thank you
