The Bown Family would like to thank y'all for the prayers and support we've been receiving over the past few days. We truly appreciate the love and respect that y'all have given us during this heart wrenching time and it will not be forgotten.

 

For all who do not know: our mum, Monique Peterson-Bown, abruptly passed away Tuesday evening. She was the most incredible woman who was continuously selfless, strong, and fearless in all that she did. Words cannot even begin to describe the type of love she carried for each and every person who crossed paths. Our mum was the most generous soul and always gave anything she had. We are just so immensely thankful and blessed to have been apart of her caring story.

 

Her death was extremely abrupt as her fight with Covid took a turn for the worse Monday morning. She fought so hard to be with us and for this family. None of us ever imagined the possibility of losing her. We now must face processing the pain of coming to terms with this new reality of life without her physical presence. We are turning to our family and friends for support to help raise funds for her final arrangements. Whether it's giving $5 or just sharing this to get the word out, we deeply appreciate every bit of effort. We as a family planned for literally everything but this.

 

We will be releasing more information about Monique's Celebration of Life in the days to come but as of now it is scheduled for Saturday, December 11 at Fellowship Church in Grand Junction, Colorado around 1pm.
