We are the proud owners of The Square & Compass, North Rigton and The Castle Inn, Spofforth – destination pubs full of character and contemporary charm that double up as unique event spaces in North Yorkshire. Under our banner also comes Malvern Events who carefully plan all the memorable weddings & events we are honoured to host within our venues. We pride ourselves on being a cut above the rest and are extremely passionate about making a real difference, all achieved by pure determination and bringing people together!

There are so many reasons we have chosen BHF as our partner charity, one of which is really quite personal to us. Georgia, our wedding & events planner who has been a part of Malvern Inns for several years, was born with an undiagnosed genetic heart condition. Our ultimate aim is to help raise funds allowing further research development to continue, helping provide support to her and so many other people across the country....

To launch our new charity affiliation, we have a huge week planned during October including a number of our key team members taking part in both a tandem skydive and running a marathon to really kick off the fundraising campaign!

On Wednesday 16th October, six members of our management teams from both The Castle Inn and The Square & Compass (Josef, Luke, Manny, Kat, Joe & Melissa) will push themselves to the absolute limit by jumping out of a plane in a bid to fundraise for BHF. A few days later on Sunday 20th October, Josef & Luke will also proudly run The Yorkshire Marathon along with Megan & Ben from The Square & Compass in an attempt to continue growing the pot for our partner charity.

Any donations would be hugely appreciated - the funds raised will be donated to British Heart Foundation, after covering the costs of the events.
