Almost 8 years ago my wife and I had a beautiful baby girl named Mallory. She was diagnosed shortly after birth with a rare genetic disorder called Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome. In 2017, myself and four other riders took to the pavement to see if we could raise some awareness for Mallory’s diagnosis by creating a Best Buddies Challenge team. Since 2017, we’ve collectively ridden from Boston to Hyannis proudly wearing our Team Mallory shirts while developing our own 501c3 non profit, Mal’s Pals Foundation. What started with 5 people biking 100 miles has turned into countless connections, a network of rare disease resources, thousands of dollars in adaptive equipment and communication devices donated, and we haven’t stopped yet. Please help me to continue the Mal’s Pals legacy as I take to the bike for the sixth year participating in the Best Buddies Challenge. My goal is $2500.00 but much more than the money is our mission as a charity; raising awareness for rare disease, supporting families like ours on their journey with diseases like Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome, and encouraging a more inclusive world. Your donation will help raise money for both Best Buddies and Mal’s Pals Foundation.
