One of our Compass Rose family members arrived home to the unthinkable yesterday evening. Mallory Lancaster (Compass Rose Ingenuity Secondary School Teacher Resident) arrived home to one of the worst nightmares one can experience. Her home was ablaze. In the tragedy, she was thankfully unharmed physically. However, her home and all property contained therein (as of the time of this writing) are uninhabitable and unrecoverable. Her dog, Wynona, is currently in critical condition as well. Mallory needs financial assistance to secure future housing, replace destroyed property and help with veterinary bills.

This is important because it gives us a chance to live out one of our central values and demonstrate what it looks like to be a people-centered school district. I urge you to strongly consider participating in donating to this cause.
