Our daughter, Mallory, has been chosen to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, DC, for the summer of 2023. Mallory is an outgoing and talented seventh grader at Arthur Ashe Charter School and was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Ashley Owens, based on her academic excellence and strong leadership potential. The JrNYLC program is a week-long learning experience that will allow Mallory to enhance her leadership skills, attend interactive workshops, explore historical sites, enjoy an exclusive Capitol Hill experience, and meet middle school students from around the country. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will assist with paying her tuition (room and board, program activities, ground transportation, conference materials, and supervision by the Envision team) and round-trip flight.
