Mallorie for Deaf Ed
Donation protected
THIS IS A SURPRISE. DO NOT TELL MALLORIE. This is NOT PUBLIC, and this fundraising effort is with her friends and colleagues. Please do not share on any social media platforms.
Our dear Mallorie Evans is one of the few educational audiologists who is trilingual- fluent in ASL, Spanish and English and deeply involved in Deaf Ed. She is currently on the board of the California Educators of the Deaf (Cal-Ed), California's Hands & Voices, and United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) to name a few. Mallorie teaches under the Deaf Ed department at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and works tirelessly to advocate for the Deaf community by supporting teachers, audiologists, administrators, and families. Mallorie is active on social media via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with calling out injustices and highlighting stories that need attention.
Her expertise in Deaf Ed is greatly needed at the administrative level. The only way she can become an administrator is to obtain the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential by taking the CSPACE exams. To take these exams, the approximate cost including study materials is $1,000.
Mallorie is an amazing mom, wife, daughter, colleague, and friend. We believe in Mallorie and her ability to make a positive impact in the lives of our Deaf children and their families. Please find it within your heart to contribute, big or small, so that Mallorie can take her CSPACE exam and get her administrative credential. When we come together as a community to help one of our own rise up, we make our world a better place. By supporting Mallorie, Deaf children will truly reap the rewards.
Once we reach the goal, we will have a surprise celebration and will gift her with the money we have raised. She HAS NO IDEA this is happening. PLEASE DO NOT TELL HER.
Thank you.
