Malkina's Transition

Hello! My name is Malkina and I am a 24 year-old trans woman and I am in need of financial support for the various expenses associated with my physical and medical transition (MTF). As most of you may know, transitioning can be a highly expensive process, as well as emotionally taxing. For myself, electrolysis facial hair removal and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) are currently the top priorities for my transition. Electrolysis appointments can amount to several thousands of dollars due to the many, many hours that are needed to properly get rid of my type of dark and thick facial hair that severely triggers my dysphoria. As for hormones, since I am currently studying abroad and plan on staying in Europe following my graduation in May, the costs for HRT will possibly be significant given that my insurance will most likely not cover any expenses associated with gender-affirming care. Therefore, I will most likely have to pay for any HRT expenses (prescriptions, appointments, etc.) out of pocket. For 2023, my biggest resolution is to take this pivotal step toward matching my physicality with how I feel emotionally and mentally. Any donation (big or small) or a simple share would be highly appreciated. Any help I receive towards finally getting on hormones and removing as much of my facial hair as possible will be cherished from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, everyone ❤️
