It is with the heaviest of hearts to update that Malivang has passed.
She passed on her 57th birthday, October 7th at 9:45pm.
In her final moments, she was surrounded by her family on such a beautiful day. The sun was shining as we took her on a walk outside the hospital, she wanted to be outside to enjoy the warmth of the sun. We sang her happy birthday with tears in our eyes, and we all got to express to her how much we loved her. Unfortunately, Her body could no longer endure the pain that it was going through and finally gave out on her.
We thank you all for the donations received thus far, we are now going to allocate the donations to the funeral arrangements to give her the most beautiful send off that she deserves.

Hi my name is Poev Koth, and I have created this fundraiser to help my beautiful, loving, caring, and selfless sister in her time of need.
Malivang who is 56 years old, and is the oldest of 7 sisters was recently diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. This is a terminal disease that is causing her much pain. The doctors have explained that it is progressing rapidly and she may only have a few months to live.
Malivang is such a kind soul who grew up having to raise me and my 5 other sisters. Immigrating from Cambodia, Malivang who is autistic was already too old to get the opportunity to go through American schools, she did not get to experience what my sisters and I experienced. Instead she was taking care of my sisters and I, helping my mother around the house, cooking, and cleaning. She never had the chance to live her life to the fullest.
She barely speaks any English and is so confused about what is happening to her body, and I've tried to explain to her the diagnosis, but it is so hard to tell your oldest sister that the disease she is suffering from is a fatal one. The doctors have given her the choice to either live her final months as is or commit to chemo and radiation therapy to potentially prolong her life. A successful treatment could change her life expectancy from months to years (5 year max) but will come with ALOT of pain and side effects in the process. Even though she has not lived a full life, and got to experience all that it has to offer, she did not even hesitate to chose life, she is so strong and she wants to FIGHT.
The money from this fundraiser will 100% go to her nutrition, employing at home care, appointments, medications, and providing her with as much comfort as possible as she attempts to fight for her life.
