Malito’s Road to Junior Olympic Boxing Nationals

Malito Gang! I Hope all of my supporters are doing good and most of you are coming back from these hard times. As for me, I’ve been in the gym working hard and doing everything possible to stay busy and continue my journey to greatness. Usually around this time we have local tournaments to set up a team for New York City to represent at the Junior Olympic National tournament, which is being held in Texas this year. But due to the city shutting down our local state and regional tournaments were canceled, meaning we have no funding to go out to the Nationals and follow our dreams of becoming Champions. This is a burden on my Pops who put up a few thousand dollars of his own money to go to the last tournament in April which got me ranked #5 in the nation. The JO’s are an important tournament to get me to the number 1 spot. My team and I are ready to perform, and we ask that you help us get there, and stay there as the funds would go to our Flights and Hotel stay. Help me represent not only us but all of you. All of the people that fell down during the pandemic, all of the ones who lost a loved one, and anyone who just feels like the world has left them behind. Let me be your hope, let me show you that life is worth living and we can win no matter the circumstances. That’s what being part of Malito Gang is all about, it’s about fighting for what’s yours, it’s about creating a better future for yourself and your circle!
