MALINDA GAVE HER LIFE TO GIVE CHRISTOPHER RUEBEN FIGUEROA A CHANCE FOR LIFE
Now 38- year Malinda Figueroa lies in the hospital with no brain activity but still incubating her 22-week-old baby, Christopher Rueben Figueroa. She is gone, but even though she is not in this world, she continues to sustain the life of her son.
The doctors have given Malinda’s Mother and Father and family and the father of her son no hope for recovery after her blood pressure spiked and caused a blood vessel to bleed in the back part of her brain that contains the cognitive functions of the body and when damaged life can cease to exist.
Rita and Ruben Figueroa, the grandparents, Christopher’s father, and the family are having to fight for the chance to let Christopher continue to develop in her womb in order to reach the critical age of 23 weeks to improve his chances of survival.
Please donate and it does not matter the amount. The costs of keeping Malinda’s body nourished and the medicine to maintain the incubation for little Christopher and the hospital costs for her care are enormous.
We are all praying for Christopher as he clings to life within his Mother’s womb. And we pray for Malinda who is in God’s hands now, but even in death she continues to nourish and cradle her son.
He deserves the chance to live, Malinda gave her life for him.
Please help us to help them. We know all is in God’s hands, but He is working his miracles as Malinda was told she could never have children, but here is little Christopher, fighting for life.
