This is my sister Malinda. She is a hard working single mother of two great kids, ages 13 & 7. Her love of life, her inner strength & her faith in God is incredible, given all she is going through.
In 2013, Malinda had decided to return to school to get her RN. Unfortunately, she found it increasingly difficult to focus & recall information after studying for hours. In February 2015, it was discovered that there is a mass in her brain that has been causing seizures. After further testing, it was discovered she has epilepsy caused by a lesion in the temporal lobe of her brain.
In hopes for a total healing from the seizures, she decided the best course of treatment is to remove the lesion. Post surgery recovery is expected to keep her out of work for a couple of months. The stress in anticipation for surgery & the inevitable looming debts, are causing more stress which in turn are causing more seizures.
