Hello!
I’m Doireann and this summer, my amazing daddy, Charley, & I are setting off on the journey of a lifetime – in a Mercedes Benz tractor. Yes, you read that right!
Charley, is self confessed 'no spring chicken', and it’s been his dream for years to drive a tractor the length of Ireland – from Malin Head to Mizen Head – not just for the adventure, but to support two incredible charities:
- The Irish Heart Foundation – who do life-saving work to support those affected by heart disease and stroke. Just like daddy, who had a triple heart bypass a few years ago and continues to live life at full throttle.
- The Cuisle Centre, Portlaoise – who have supported so many families through cancer diagnosis and treatment with compassion, dignity, and community.
This trip is about heart – literally and figuratively. We’re raising funds in honour of the many people we love and have lost, and for those still fighting.
We’ll be travelling slowly – very slowly! – stopping in towns and villages along the way. So keep an eye out for the tractor (and us!) and please say hello, give us a beep, or better still – donate what you can. Every little helps.
