Malika's Dream Internship Come True

I graduate this spring with a Bachelors in Social Work. Subsequently, I will continue my education into a Ph.D. in Psychology. I plan to have my own practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My goal is to assist others so they may reach their full potential. My purpose is to focus on individual well-being to guide clients with overcoming difficult circumstances. I have learned a great deal in the BSW Social Work program. I see myself applying the tools of communication and business ethics to my future practice and other business opportunities. As a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, I have been selected to go to Madrid, Spain as an intern for entrepreneurship through the Absolute Internship Program. This program is a pioneering firm that partners with other companies that allows students and graduates to follow their inspirations and develop personal and professional skill sets. This possibility would also give me the chance to meet other students from all over the world and experience a culture other than my own. My parents will help me finance this opportunity. However, I would be incredibly grateful if you would help me bridge the gap by raising $5,000 contributing any amount towards some of the room, board, travel, and incidental fees.
