Greetings family, friends, friends-of-friends, and in some cases-strangers, who helped to make this fundraising effort for Malik’s memorial a success. My name is Carolyn Mills of Smyrna, Georgia, Malik’s aunt and sister to Malik’s mother. I want to sincerely thank all of you who contributed, encouraged your friends and family to contribute, and sent words of sympathy and encouragement to Malik's parents, Desiree and Anthony. I will soon be ending this GFM, and I would like to assure you that EVERY penny of the money we raised together will be sent directly to the family to alleviate some of the financial stress, and cover the expenses which accrued in providing a fitting memorial honoring our beloved Malik. Please continue to keep Malik’s memory alive, his family in your hearts and prayers, and once again, Thank You.


On Monday July 9th, 2018, our family experienced the untimely loss our beloved Malik  in a tragic drowning accident. Please join us in this campaign to raise funds to assist his parents in providing a proper memorial to commemorate the life of this beautiful young man that left us all too soon.
