Malik was diagnosed many years ago with Crohn's Disease. His medicine is no longer working and needs more intensive care.  He leaves on November 15 to seek medical help from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his significant other are both out of work as he is sick and she just had their second child. The money raised will be used for travel expenses as well as medical bills.
