Hi, my name is Callie and this is my 2-year-old baby girl, Malibu. Last night, January 22nd, she somehow got out of the house and was hit by a car and left on the side of the road while I was at work. Someone witnessed it, saw her tags, and called me. We rushed her to the hospital. They gave her pain medication and took X-rays showing she had pelvic fractures that left her pelvis misaligned, which luckily in most cases can be treated with bed rest. However, her ankle was torn open, leaving nothing but the bone, after consulting multiple vets the best course of action for our baby is amputating due to the complications that can come with a surgery to fix it, she is still so young that she will 100% bounce back from this and love a long and happy life as long as we can get the money for surgery. This surgery alone will cost us 3,000 dollars upfront that we don’t have! I have tried finding payment plan options, applied for loans, and tried contacting any foundation I could, but I’ve gotten nothing. I need your help. Malibu is the sweetest girl in the world, and it just tears me apart to know somebody did this to her and left her there. She is a loving girl that just wants to be home with her mom. Please help me save her!
