Malia’s Road to recovery

Everyone knows I love fund raising for people that need that bit of help but this one I want to set off today hits me more than any of the ones I’ve ever done before so here goes…My best friend Talia’s little girl Malia who is 19 months old has just been diagnosed with A.L.L (acute lymphoid leukaemia) Treatment started straight away for Malia 2 weeks ago at Sheffield children’s hospital after a bone marrow biopsy confirmed the Leukemia which came as an absolute shock to everyone! The resilience Malia has shown since starting the intense treatment is just mind blowing. Obviously this news has hit so hard at home for Talia and Simon, not forgetting extended family and friends. Talia is currently on maternity leave after having their second daughter who is only 15 weeks old and Simon (dad) is self employed and is needed at home to look after the little one while mum and Malia reside at Sheffield children’s for the forceable future for her treatment. I want to do this fund raiser for them wether it be to take away the pressure of money worries, for them to look forward to an amazing family holiday after Malia’s treatment, day trips in between treatment or whatever they need to help in the moment!!!
