On Wednesday, August 17th, we lost a truly one-of-a-kind Sister, Daughter, Grandchild, Niece, Cousin, and friend. Her abrupt passing has caught us all off guard and we've all been stunned by this loss. We know that she is with God in heaven and smiling down on all of us, quietly encouraging us to live in the moment and enjoy every breath as she did! We will all deeply miss Malia’s kind and caring soul, smart and funny wit, and smile that could light up a room. Words cannot describe the hole that Malia has left behind.
Malia touched many hearts throughout the community of Happy Valley and it’s our turn to give back to her family in their time of need.To honor Malia, we want to remember her with the proper funeral arrangements. We are raising money to help cover the unexpected cost of end-of-life expenses. Any excess funds will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation in the name of Malia.
Above all we ask for prayers in the coming weeks, months and years as this amazing family puts the pieces back together and searches for their new normal.
