Malek’s Surgery

Hi, my name is Cameron and anyone who knows me knows just how important my best buddy Malek is to me. He’s my soul dog.

This September Malek seriously injured his leg and over the past few months the injury has worsened. I am very lucky to have finally found a vet who will perform a surgery this month (January 2024) that will get him back on all four paws. While the surgery is invasive and there’s a long recovery the chances of him getting back to running, playing, and hiking with me again are really good.

After a lot of consideration I have decided to make this go fund me to see if I can raise a bit of money to help me pay for the very expensive surgery. With having already spent so much on the injury and an estimated cost of $6000 - $8000 for the operation, as well as additional costs for medications, follow up appointments, and physical therapy, any donation no matter how large or small would be a huge help to Malek and myself.

I am not expecting everyone in my life to donate, I understand that life itself is so expensive and not everyone is in a position to help. Please only donate if you truly can and would like to. Thank you.
