It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the unexpected loss of Malek “GQ” Cep, a beloved son to Madol Cuot Cep and Alek Mading Nyang, brother to Sarah (Nyanuer), Dina, Mary, John, Cuot, cousin, nephew, friend and uncle. Malek’s passing has left his family and loved ones in deep shock and grief, and they are facing a challenging time as they try to process this sudden loss.

Malek was deeply loved and will be forever remembered for the impact he had on everyone who knew him. His absence has left a void that can never be filled.

During this painful time, the family is also faced with the emotional and financial burden of planning a funeral and a memorial to properly say goodbye to Malek and honour his life. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, would go a long way in helping ease this burden and allowing the family to focus on grieving and healing.
