The 13th May 2020 was a hugely sad day for many, many people, an amazing Husband, Dad, Grandad and truly great friend was lost to this awful virus.
Malcy is loved and missed by so many, we thought it would be a fitting tribute to have a memorial bench placed for him down at the river, close to where he ran his burger van. The directors of the Marina have kindly agreed for us to locate the bench on the triangle of grass opposite the sailing club.
Potentially we’ll need some help with laying a base but we’ll deal with that nearer the time.
We’ve set the target to what we estimate it’ll cost to buy and engrave the bench plus construct a suitable base. Once we get more accurate costs we’ll adjust the target if necessary. Any funds left over will go towards another memorial for him.
Biff and myself will organise the bench and liaise with his lovely family with regards the engraving.
