Dear Friends,
As many of you know, Malcolm sustained another stroke yesterday afternoon.The quick response of Karen, the Hailey emergency department, and the flight for life helicopter were all instrumental in him getting immediate, and life saving medical services. He is currently in stable condition in Boise, Idaho and starting the recovery process.
Malcolm has regained the strength on his right side but still has some significant heart and neurological issues to address. He will remain in the ICU stroke center for a while. Sadly, no one is allowed in to the hospital so we are all hanging tight in our specific locations until we can see him safely.
Please send your love and prayers. We know that he understands what is going on but is unable to speak coherently right now. On FaceTime last night he was his cheerful babbling self. You gotta love this guy.
We will be posting updates to Malcolm's condition here periodically. Please share and ask for good thoughts. We have included a donation to help with medical costs and house modification costs that will have to take place once he is back in Hailey. We know this is a financially stressful time, and by no means want folks to put themselves in financial risk, but ask if you can contribute, please do.
