Hi I am Malcolm, I'm transgender and living in Scotland and this is my fundraiser in order to afford top (chest)/bottom (genital) surgery in the future.

Currently, NHS surgery waitlists are upwards of 4 years for referral and consultation, compounded with additional years of waiting for assessment and surgery itself, and in the case of genital reconstruction, several years between surgical stages. I don't have the funds on my own right now for private care.

Anatomical dysphoria makes my life worse and I would like to reduce its effect for as much of my twenties as I can manage. I wish the NHS wasn't defunded to the extent that it is and that I didn't have to save up money, but I don't want to wait for such a long time. Receiving this medical care would allow me to exist with far more ease and comfort in the world and generally make me a happier person. I've dreamed about it for a long time.
