Malcolm’s Story
Hello to All Malcolm & Leannes Family, Friends and Broader Community,
My name is Tammy. I am starting this go fund page to help a dear long-time friend and family, who I feel will need as much help and assistance over the coming months/years with what they have been dealt with.
I will start by introducing him as Malcolm. Malcolm and his family have been my nearest family friends for over 25 years. Malcolm is an amazing family man and is the type of bloke that would take the shirt off his back to help others. Such a kind and generous guy. He has always had a passion for motorcycles and loved nothing more than going for a ride with his mates.
On Saturday 18th March a morning ride went as badly as you could imagine. He was involved in a serious motorbike accident (At no fault of his own). He has been left with a broken upper leg (shattered) and his lower leg was snapped at the shin. We were all hoping that surgery could fix his leg but unfortunately, the family has now been informed that they will have to amputate his leg. I could not imagine the mental & physical pain he is going through and will continue to go through. I am hoping that we as family, friends and community could come together and help lessen the financial stress a little for him and his family as Malcolm will be unable to work for quite a long period and has been the sole provider for his family. As I'm sure whoever is reading this knows times are tough for everybody given the current circumstances in this world, I am asking anyone who reads this and can understand the situation they have now been dealt with to please donate whatever you can to help them. As you can imagine they'll be an amount of medical bills, car parking, ongoing aid care, day-to-day living cost, etc… So much more this is just the start of things at present.
Thank you for taking the time to read Malcolm's story and to those that have donated.
Kind regards Tammy xo
