Malaysia World Challenge 2026

Hi,

My name is Annabel, I’m 15 and I go to Ilkley Grammar School. I have decided to take part in a 2 week expedition to Malaysia with an organisation called World Challenge. This is a once in a lifetime experience and i’ll be stepping out of my comfort zone and taking part in meaningful marine conservation work, working with communities and helping to make a positive impact on the environment. During the trip, i’ll be surrounded by the local culture which will let me see the world from a completely new perspective. The total cost of the trip is £4245 and I am aiming to raise it myself. This GoFundMe is not all i’m doing, I will also raise money by car washing, selling things, part time work, and cleaning. I believe it's important to work hard for this trip and I'm committed to putting in the effort to make it happen, because it will make me feel like I earned the trip. This opportunity is not just about seeing a new country—it's about learning how to work in a team, understanding different ways of life, gaining independence, and contributing to causes that really matter.
