Malatya, Turkey Earthquake Emergency Appeal

More than 20,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands injured after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey and the numbers are expected to rise up even more. There are still thousands of people stuck under collapsed buildings waiting to be saved in Malatya, a city in the Eastern region of Turkey. Families beg for help to find loved ones in the snow-covered earthquake. With no specialist equipment or even gloves or winter clothing, they try to pick through the wreckage of homes crumpled by the force of the earthquake.
