'Malara'thon 50k for 1k)

On June 10, 2017 I am running a 50km ultra marathon to raise funds for families in Uganda, Africa for malaria (malaria is a leading cause of death for children in Uganda and the number one cause of sickness for all Ugandans. More than 40 children die each day from the disease, which costs less than a dollar to treat - this excerpt was taken from healing faith Uganda).
Recently my son (Malachi) return from Uganda with this parasite, and had the privilege/access to medicine, care, and ongoing follow up. One thousand dollars could potentially save 1000 kids!!
This 'malara'thon will take me a grueling 7.5 hours, with vertical gains of nearly 7,000 ft (2,100m), with a bum hamstring. I have paid for my own entrance fee. Every penny earned will go to:
