Hello to all my amazing friends and family on
this glorious 4th of JULY evening .
or as I like to call it INTER-DEPEN-DANCE Day!
Well,here's my latest story...............
I have gotten into a serious pickle with my LANDLORD.
As many of you know I live in a cute litttle warehouse
in the MISSION . It was bare-bones before myself and many,many
of you my friends helped turn it into a livable,accessible HOME.
Unfortunately about 2-years ago he put the rent up almost 20%
-all legal as it hadn't been raised in a few years. But late last year
it caught up with me and I fell behind .
He wants to turn my home into multiple units but is not prepared
to negotiate in good faith and is moving to evict me.
He is using the notoriously villainous ORENSTEIN LAW who are the eviction specialists of bay area landlords - they posted a 3-day PAY or QUIT notice on our GATE at 10pm on a FRIDAY night! Strange!
I don't want to get too complicated but I have an attorney that a good friend retained' for me a few months ago and has been very helpful.
BUT NOW
I need to raise some money for the next, more difficult phase FIGHTING THE EVICTION and NEGOTIATING the situation to a satisfactory conclusion.
If I can muster up enough $27 contributions (BERNIE SANDERS Style!!) it won't take long to reach my goal .
