Malachi Anthony and his family request your assistance in sponsoring Malachi for an important educational program. Malachi has been the light of our life since he first came to live with us at 18 months of age and later we were able to adopt him into our home. Since then, he has shown great scholastic potential with excellent grades in school.
Malachi has been nominated by Mr. McMahon, a teacher at Sabin Elementary School, to participate in the National Youth Leadership Program – Pathways to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This is a special honor and very few are accepted into this program. The money that you help raise will be used to directly cover the tuition costs and will be paid to the National Youth Leadership Program.
The program consists of a week long program of instruction and is a “unique learning experience for bright, forward-thinking elementary school students who will evolve into next generation innovators, engineers, doctors, software developers, and scientists." It means so much to assist Malachi in being able to participate. Tuition costs become due November 15th. We are grateful for any assistance you can give by then; however, we are able to accept contributions through June 2017, as the event takes place the following month.
Last year only 16 children in the state of Colorado were invited to attend. Malachi will partake in this 6 day 5 night program at The University of Denver! We need to raise $2,214 and have received $500 in contributions so far! We thank you in advance for your love and desire to assist Malachi to reach his greatest potential.
More information about the STEM program can be found at https://www.envisionexperience.com/explore-our-programs/national-youth-leadership-forum-pathways-to-stem. Students realize the power of their potential with new skills that help them stand out in school and in the community. Some highlights of the program include learning to program a robot, step into the role of a doctor, and investigate a crime!
