Malachi's Leg Amputation

Donation protected

On March 17th 2017, my neighbors 5 year old Poodle mix got out of his fenced yard as he always has. But this time he didn't return home so lucky. While he was out some neighbors observed some kids tormenting the dog. Later that evening he was found on Belair Road injured. A kind neighbor took Malachi to the ER thinking he got hit by a car and from there he went to the BCAS where my neighbor was able to go and get him back on Monday the 19th. Unfortunatlety the vet does not think he got hit, but someone injured him pretty bad. As you can see in the picture his left front paw now has no feeling and drags. The Vet has also recommened the leg gets amputated.I am in the process of helping her secure her fencing and all the gates since I know financially she is not able. My neighbor has also had numerous brain surgeries, back surgeries and has life threatning issues and cannot afford the amputation. So I am pleading to the public to help Malachi get his amputation and help him be a happy dog again. No gift is to big or too small. We had to up the amount due to the emergency nature and couldn't wait any longer because he has now chewed 2 of his toes off. So with it being an emergency it will cost considerably more. He is having the procedure done tomorrow on March 31st. Hopefully all will go well for him.
