First of all, if you're here, thank you so much. My name is Makoa Kalaʻi and I am an up and coming young artist. Recently, I have moved independently away from my family and am doing lots of free lancing work to sustain my self.
Most recently, I have tapped into my creative juices and opened myself up to the messages of the universe and was inspired to create a Christmas Album 2020. This would be my first album, ever. And it would be a HUGE launch pad for me, both as an artist and as a human. It is scary to face a feat this large, yet so extremely exciting at the same time.
You are here because I have asked you personally to consider sponsoring or donating to this project. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I would love to share that spirit with you through my gifts the Lord has blessed me with. Above is a video example of the kind of work I do and a preview of my voice if you are unfamiliar with my work.
The cost of this project would cover use of studio, studio time, musicians, album art work, album photography, production and other fees that I am learning come along with producing an album. How exciting! As Christmas is approaching quickly, the sooner I am able to book studio, the more quality the results.
This campaign will fund the project. The proceeds from album sales will aid in sustaining my livelihood and aid in me returning to NYC a year from now to complete my NYU degree with minimal aid from my parents.
For each donation, you will receive a free CD and a service of mine. Whether that is singing or not. Yes, I would be more than happy to sing live for you, or at an event for you. However, I offer many other services as well, such as video edits, photo edits, fashion design, interior design, hula dancing, etc. If you can name something, there is a good chance I may be able to fulfill that for you.
