Makkah Masjid has been a pillar of our community since 1993 as IDEA. Since that time we have seen our community grow from humble beginnings in a small office park to the masjid you see today in Garland, Texas. We offer salah 5 times a day, Multiple Programs throughout the year, and recently had a ramadan food drive where we donated 500+ boxes of food and essential goods to the community who needed it.

This Ramadan has been different due to the circumstances of COVID-19. We have been having tarawee online, we haven’t had our normal taraweeh this Ramadan, and are finishing the Quran on the 27th night. Due to the current climate, we have not been able to fundraise for our yearly expenses during the best time of the year to donate. We would appreciate your donations to help continue our operations so we can continue to serve the community positively.
