Hi, I’m Abbie, mummy to our little hero, Wilfred.

Wilfred is almost five years old and has a twin brother, Rupert. He was born profoundly deaf, and at just five months old he suffered a significant regression. He stopped rolling over, stopped interacting, and began having seizures. These seizures were completely uncontrolled for two years.

As a result, Wilfred lost the ability to eat and drink and now relies on a feeding tube for all of his nutrition and medication. He continues to have daily seizures, alongside many other complex needs. Wilfred is unable to sit unaided and is fully dependent on others for all aspects of his care.

We are desperately trying to raise funds to create a safe, accessible space for Wilf within our family home. While we do receive a grant from the council, it does not cover the full cost of the necessary work, and no additional funding will be provided.

The money raised will go towards building a suitable bedroom and wet room for Wilf, including hoisting equipment to support his care as he grows older.

Our aim is to raise £10’000.00 which will cover some of the extra work! If we could exceed our goal it would certainly help ♥️
