Making the Trip Home

My name is Linda Davis Bloom, and I'm planning to move home to Michigan in June of 2023.

My mother passed away on June 22 of this year, and my younger brother unexpectedly followed her ten days later. That was a painful period.

However, Providence and the pandemic also provided unexpected and joy-filled contacts by long-lost family members and friends.

I need to go home while these people remain on Earth, and while I still have the health to begin again one last time.

My vehicle is a 2004 Ford Freestar with some mechanical issues, but it's all I have to get me there. Everything I own will fit inside it.

I don't have savings or property to sell to pay for the journey. I am reaching out to you in the hope that you will help me get back home. No amount is too small!

The money will be used for travel expenses: strictly necessary vehicle repairs and preparation, fuel, food, and lodging along the way.

I will post a day-by-day log of the trip so you can follow the progress and celebrate with me at the journey's end.
