He’s a proud veteran, a devoted father and grandfather, and the heart of our big, loving family. Right now, he’s facing one of the toughest battles of his life—cancer—but he’s fighting it with the same strength and courage he’s always shown.

One of his biggest dreams has always been to ride on the American Express train, and we’re determined to make that happen for him. But there’s something even more special we’re hoping for…

After 57 years, we are trying to reunite him with his long-lost Navy buddy—someone who meant the world to him and who he hasn’t seen in decades.

This would mean everything to him and to all of us.
