Welcome to my page. I am an eighteen year old girl with a passion for making a childhood dream a reality. Over the Summer I applied to have a pop up shop at Folkestone Harbour Arm to sell my cakes and bakes, this has been a huge success and only made my passion stronger and so I have decided I would like to pursue this even further. However, my pop up shop was seasonal and is drawing to a close. In what I believe is a huge twist of fate, I have been approached by another business owner in the same field who is in the process of giving up her shop.

I have passion, drive and enthusiasm in bucket loads but one piece of the puzzle is missing. I don’t have the funds to start up. I am reaching out to my customers, social media followers, friends, family and fellow cake lovers. If you support entrepreneurship and would like to see a young creative make her mark then please donate to my page. I understand that this may appear cheeky but as a future business owner I proud to say I am prepared to take the odd risk but also wanting to give back to the community with my donations. In order to give back to the people who have donated to me if I am able to open my own shop I promise for it to always be a safe space for people to come and escape and enjoy the simplicity of a coffee and a cake. I will also donate a box of my baked goods to the homeless for every donor who donates £30 or more to me in order to give back to the community.

Starting a business requires a lot of ingredients - literally and figuratively! The funds raised will help cover:

*Commercial Baking Equipment:* Ovens, mixers, and specialised cake-decorating tools.

*Initial Inventory:* High-quality ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies.

*Licensing & Permits:* Legal fees to make sure my kitchen is certified and ready to serve.

*Branding & Marketing:* A website, social media promotion, and packaging that reflects the quality of my cakes.

I am an ambitious and driven individual and have many ideas for this shop so that it will appeal to all ages. For example for the younger generation I would like to offer loaded milkshakes, bubble teas, iced coffees, hot desserts and potentially loaded ice creams for the summer months! To also appeal to the older generations, I will of course be offering teas and coffees and baked goods such as carrot cake, lemon drizzle and all of the classics that people love. This of course will be alongside my usual selection of baked goods such as brownies, cookies and rocky road that have always been a hit.

If this works I promise my donors will eat cake whilst any non-believers will be busy eating their hats
