Hi, I'm Aaliyah and my sisters and I would like to raise money for our sister, nieces and nephew.

When our sister, Sara, was pregnant with Sophie, she was told Sophie would be born with a heart defect. When Sophie was born it came to light that it was a lot more complicated that just a heart defect.

As soon as Sophie was born, she was transferred to Alder Hey hospital where she was taken to the ICU. When she was 7 weeks old Sophie underwent her first open heart surgery, later that night she went into Cardiac arrest. The Dr's and nurses worked for 45 minutes to revive Sophie.

Since then she has had 2 more open heart surgeries, many other procedures, hospital admissions and diagnosis', including being diagnosed with Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome and a more recent diagnosis of GID (gastrointestinal dystonia).

In sophies 7 years of life she has fought so many battles. Unfortunately, Sophie is now on End Of Life Care. There is nothing left to do for Sophie other than keep her comfortable and make as many memories as we can with her.

Our sister, Sara, has showed tremendous courage and bravery these past 7 years, having conversations and making decisions no parent should ever have to make for their child. She has taken in everything there is to know about Sophie and has been by her side this whole time, all while caring for her 3 other children.

Sophies older siblings Katie, Josh and Lucy have also been absolutely amazing. They are 3 brilliant children, who have adapted so well to everything and absolutely adore their little sister.

We would love to help take the financial pressure off of Sara, given the cost of living crisis, so she can focus solely on making memories with sophie and the kids. Let's help them make as many amazing memories, in the time they have left together.
