Making Kaia smile

Hey! We are Charlie and David from LPerfections hair and beauty salon. On Thursday 17th January we had a heart warming experience with a lovely little girl called kaia.
She come in to the salon with matting throughout her hair, kaia’s mum explained to us her 11 year old daughter had cancer and was going through chemotherapy and this was one of the the rare side affects. Kaia did not complain once through the untangling but Angela (kaia’s mum) had stated the only thing throughout the whole illness that kaia had complained about was losing her hair. We could not let this poorly little girl go through anything more she didn’t deserve so we did everything to detangle the hair and after 2 hours and 30 minutes we got there. After sitting and talking to Angela and listening to their story we could hear the distress that their family were going through financially. I as a mother David as a father can not begin to imagine what they’re going through financially, mentally and emotionally. We are trying to raise money to cover costs of car parking, petrol and running back and forth to The Royal Marsden hospital in Surrey. Anything we can do for this family would be greatly appreciated by all. Watching a family so lovely go through something so tragic is so heart breaking, kaia will hold a special place in the salon and we will continue to do everything we can for her.
