"Go for it, Babydoll" - My dad always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. And though I have always chased after them, there was one thing I never listened to, until he got sick and passed from COVID-19. He wanted me to make a GoFundMe awhile ago for my music, but I always felt weird asking for donations for myself. Especially during this time of chaos in the world, I was nervous to start this donation fundraiser, when so many other things are needing donations right now. Though after my dad passed, I realized that life is far too short to not try every single thing you can to make it happen for yourself. Just because the chaos in 2020 happened, doesn't mean you can't go for your dreams too.
With the raised money, I plan to use it to finally record my album that I have been holding off on all this time. I have two albums worth of songs ready to be recorded with my co-writer. I have attached a link to my first music video to my first original song that I completed on a very low budget to give anyone donating insight into what my team and I can do with very little. Any donations will be so greatly appreciated, as it takes a lot to make an album. Donations on this page will help to go towards recording studio sessions, instrumentalists, and mixing and mastering. With Mother Trucker being my first single and having radio play, I'm hoping this album can help catapult my career.
I know there are a lot of causes in the world that need donations right now, and I strongly encourage everyone to support whatever cause they feel passionate about, (especially pointing out our front liners as I have witnessed first hand how hard they work)... but I also very much want to encourage everyone to never give up on your dreams and to chase them, no matter how incredibly difficult or impossible it may seem. Through everything else going on in this world, know that life IS way too short and there are no guarantees of tomorrow... so do everything you can to make today absolutely the best it can be.
