I'm Evelina's Mum and we are fundraising for adaptations to the home to enable us to care for Evelina at home instead of in the hospital or hospice.

Evelina is 4 years old and has a rare syndrome known as CFC (Cardio-facio-cutaneous) Syndrome. She suffers daily seizures and has many complex medical needs. Evelina has spent all her life in and out of hospital and we try as best as we can to keep her in the familiar home environment were she is most comfortable.

Evelina is now too heavy for us to be able to take her up and down the stairs safely and we are no longer able to safely use the bath and wash facilities without risk of Evelina hurting herself and of course lifting her safely is no longer possible especially if she has a seizure. We also struggle in and out of door ways with her wheelchair and and to get her about the house due to the amount of equipment required for Evelina.

We need to improve our home to cater for her needs, but also her baby brother Oliver (7 months old) who needs his big sister home. We need to make changes urgently and any donations will be gratefully received.
