The Backstory
The Forbes/Martinez family is raising money for Elwood Forbes who was rushed to the emergency room on Wednesday, November 7th after experiencing severe chest pain. To his and his family’s surprise, Elwood was told he was having a heart-attack and would immediately need to have the blockage near his heart removed. After this initial emergency procedure, Elwood went into full cardiac arrest and had to be revived. After being revived, Elwood and his family were informed that he would need to have an additional procedure to remove another blockage near his heart.

The Costs
Given the severity of his condition, Elwood will be in ICU for several days and out of work for at least several weeks. Therefore, with the looming medical expenses that the family will likely incur for his life saving procedures, the Forbes/Martinez family, is asking for help to pay for current and future medical expenses, as well as any additional costs that might arise while Elwood goes through rehabilitation, and other bills that the family will need to pay while he is out of work.
