Making Danny STruong Again

The Truong family is truly living every parents worst nightmare.  Their son Danny was having very few symptoms other than headaches and dizziness when an MRI showed a very large brain tumor this week. Danny has been diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma with hydrocephalus. The tumor is located in the center of his brain and is involved with some very major structures including his pituitary gland and optic nerve. Bronson hospital has been amazing with his care and are scheduling his surgery for Friday 11/18 at 11 am. If you cannot donate at this time we would appreciate prayer warriors as well.

The Truong Family Story

Amy and Don Truong are the true embodiment of the American dream! If politics, riots, and the way of the world have got you down, then this is a story you need to hear. Amy and Don are Vietnamese born and raised. They have entered the U.S. and have become citizens who are hardworking wonderful people.  Amy owns her own business in Plainwell, MI , Hollywood Nails and Tan. She never misses a day of work and rarely closes her shop (when I say rarely, I mean maybe once or twice in the 18+ years I've known them! This includes for the birth of her two children!) So the fact that she may need to take time off and close her nail shop while Danny is recovering is extremely worrisome to her. She does not want to lose clients. ( Go buy  gift certificate for a loved one if you would like to help too!) Don is a doting father.  He is employed at Perrigo. He's amazing with his kids and this is truely a one of a kind family. Cammy is the big sister who is 9 years older than Danny, and is a second mother to her little brother. This family is amzing and have kids who are our future.

All About Danny
Danny is a happy go lucky, smiling, extremely intellegent 6 year old 1st grader at Washington Street Elementary in Otsego. He is an amazing reader and great mathematician! Most of all he is a one of a kind kid who lights up a room when he walks into it.  Anyone can tell you that this past week, without Danny at school has not been the same. He is a great friend to his classmates and a joy for his teachers. He loves minions and his favorite color is blue. When asked what his favorite holidays are his answer was, " Christmas and oh yeah, Labor Day!" lol Danny is often dressed to the nines in a suit and tie and its hard to miss his sparkling personality by everyone he meets. He's a special kid and the future is at his hands!

Please consider helping with the impending medical bills that they will have. Danny has endured many tests already, will have this brain surgery (which may turn into more surgeries depending on the amount of time it may take for tumor removal) and a trip to Ann Arbor for a 10 day stay for post-operative treatment.  They need your help!
